Spark Comic #16 - Breathing Problems

Okay, so I'm a day late for this comic... Again. Sorry, I had lots of stuff to do and this took longer than expected, plus I have a job so it's hard to get this done, even for a day after I should've had it up. I literally rushed to get this done. As you could probably tell, I got REALLY lazy in the last few panels and in the shading.

I've been playing quite a bit of The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and I like it. I never owned the original game when it came out since I didn't have an N64, but I did buy the Port/Master Quest version when I happened to see it one time. I dunno what it was, but I just couldn't get into the game and didn't finish it. The 3DS Port, though, is pretty impressive. Perhaps is the more modernized graphics that are pulling me into it and the 3D effect that's really well done. I don't know, but I'm enjoying the game quite a bit, though I've yet to see why this is often said to be the best game/Zelda of all time. I'm sure it's because I never played it in the era it originally came out and gaming has evolved A LOT since the 90s, but I much prefer Wind Waker.

Anyway, this is just a scene based on the infamous Water Temple from Ocarina of Time. You find Ruto in there, surprisingly, and she starts blabbing on... and on... and on... Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure I have a timer saying how long I can be underwater... But she still goes on. As long as she was talking, Link should've drowned by then, plus I'm sure he would've reacted that way to the whole fiancee thing seeing as he didn't know what it meant as a child. While using the Blue Zora Tunic would've nullified this altogether, I didn't actually find out how to get it until AFTER I had beaten the Water Temple, so I played through the whole thing in the green tunic. I only drowned once when I forgot to keep track of my timer while fighting a bunch of enemies and didn't resurface in time.

Question though, did Nintendo remake the Water Temple to be easier in this port of Ocarina of Time? Reason I'm asking is because I've heard all the horror stories about how unbelievably hard it was... And I found it surprisingly easy. I didn't find it that hard. The only things I found mildly difficult were Dark Link and the Amoeba boss. Other than that, I just had to keep track which rooms I'd visited. Wasn't THAT hard... Or maybe I just found it pretty easy because I'm awesome like that. :D

Hope you enjoy this comic. See you next week! :)

Update: Apparently, people are saying they're incredibly shocked and amazed that I was able to finish the Water Temple without the Blue Tunic... Which was news to me!!! I only figured out how to get the Blue Tunic AFTER the Water Temple (Which made it feel so useless to me at that point). Went through that entire dungeon with only the regular Green Tunic. I only drowned once, losing track of time fighting against a bunch of enemies under water. So technically, I did the Water Temple the wrong way, making it unintentionally harder, even though I still found it rather easy. Horray for unintentional acheivements?
