Iron Man Ink Colored

Believe it or not, I did not use markers to color this. The coloring was all done digitally in Photoshop. I took my pencil & ink drawing of this and colored it using solid colors on several multiply layers. The repulsors and jetfires were done using several colors with gaussian blur.

I really liked how this turned out. I didn't expect the marker look when I started photoshopping it but I grew to like the look it gave the drawing and went with it. The pencil shade tones underneath really helped bring the drawing to life in my opinion and really cemented the marker-like look that came as a result. I think it looks cool, you'd swear I did this with markers. Maybe I'll do more drawings like this.
